Tragic News

Three skiers were killed in an avalanche in Stevens pass Washington on the weekend. My thoughts go out to there family's and friends. It should be a real eye opener for everyone who skies the in the back country... They were skiing not to far out of bound of the ski resort as well which makes it even more scary. Here is a link to powder magazine where they talk about it in more detail. It seems like they were very experience and had the right equipment as well. You never know when an avalanche is going to strike which makes it even scarier. My thoughts go out to them, RIP
